📍 Cambodia
Sisowath Riverside Park runs along Phnom Penh’s central waterfront beside Sisowath Quay, on the western bank of the Tonle Sap River near the Royal Palace. The quay is named after King Sisowath, linking this public riverfront with Cambodia’s royal history. Broad paved walkways, palms, and lawns frame views of passing boats, while the nearby palace’s ornate rooflines provide a distinctive backdrop toward the city. The promenade is also an everyday gathering place, with walkers, vendors, and groups exercising as the day cools. During Cambodia’s Water Festival, the waterfront fills with spectators watching traditional boat races on the Tonle Sap, turning the river itself into the focus of the capital’s celebrations.
