Shipwreck Beach, also known as Navagio Beach, is a stunningly beautiful secluded cove on the island of Elation in Greece. It is one of the most iconic and sought-after destination of the country. The unique beach, with its soft golden sand, crystal clear waters and dramatic setting, is a stunning sight. The area is named after the famous shipwreck – the MV Panagiotis – that can be seen in the middle of the cove. Surrounding cliffs are a photographers paradise as one can take pictures of the incredible scenery from a wide variety of angles. There is a nearby viewpoint for those wishing to capture a bit of the tranquility from a higher perspective. It is an amazing place to swim, sunbathe and explore. The road leading to the beach is winding and narrow, so come prepared and allow extra time.
