Shaman Rock - Šamanská skála is a unique mount near Chatyga village in the Angarsk district of the Irkutsk Oblast, Russia. The mountain is part of the Irkutsk Nature Reserve, and rises 1290 m above sea level, providing an impressive viewpoint. Its unique shape is caused by water erosion and tectonic shifts. The irregular surface of the mountain is covered with charoite veins which sparkle under the sun. To reach the summit there are multiple hiking routes. There are also four observation spots with spectacular views of the surrounding landscapes. The mountain is also a place of pilgrimage, where locals conduct rituals and sacrifices.
