Seljalandsfoss

Seljalandsfoss is a beautiful and popular stop on the South Coast of Iceland. This incredible waterfall can be seen from the Ring Road but can be enjoyed fully on foot. It is possible to take a walk behind this wide cascading fall and view it from a unique perspective. With its easy access, it has become a tourist favorite and provides great opportunities for photography. In addition to the waterfall, Seljalandsfoss also offers a panoramic view of the North Atlantic Ocean in the horizon. There are also other waterfalls in the vicinity including Gljúfrabúi, Kvernufoss and Þórufoss. All of these waterfalls can be easily reached from the parking lot. Care should be taken when exploring the surrounding cliffs.
