Selfoss Waterfall

Selfoss Waterfall is one of several stunning waterfalls found in Iceland. Located east of Reykjavik in the valley of Þjórsárdalur, this series of two waterfalls, 150 feet (45 meters) and 50 feet (15 meters) in height, respectively, tumbles down the side of a steep and rocky gorge. Its serene, otherworldly beauty and the surrounding mountainous landscape make the Selfoss Waterfall a fantastic place to spend time. It's a short, easy hike from the carpark, and is possible to walk around the waterfall and explore the area from all angles. The views are spectacular and it's a wonderful spot for nature lovers, hikers, and photographers alike.
