Selamat Datang Monument

The Selamat Datang Monument is a government-commissioned monument located in RT 01, Indonesia. It is one of the largest monuments in the country, measuring around 60 metres long and 15 metres high. It is made of bronze, brass, and stone and its design is meant to symbolize national pride and patriotism. It depicts a giant arc balancing on two feet, and depicts the elaborate history of Indonesia and its people. Other features of the monument include an atlas of Indonesia and a variety of plants and animals representing the country's diverse wildlife.
