Seebrücke Travemünde (Sea Bridge Travemünde) is a historic bridge in Lübeck, Germany. It connects both sides of the mouth of the Trave River, allowing boats to pass into the city’s harbor. The bridge is one of the most popular sightseeing destinations in the city due to its picturesque views of the Baltic Sea and views of the old salt and fishing warehouses. The bridge also offers a great view of the beach and the lighthouse, which was refurbished in 1994 and is one of the tallest in Europe. Travemünde’s town beach, with its kilometer-long promenade beside the Trave River, is also one of the most visited tourist destinations in the area. The brown-shingled beachhouse, which dates back to 1737, is the most impressive building in the area and houses the Lost in Time Museum. The museum exhibits the town’s maritime heritage and cultural history. To top it off, there are many restaurants and cafes in the area, decked with breathtaking views of the clear horizon. A stroll along the bridge at Sundown provides a truly magical experience.
