The Seealpsee (also known as the Lake of Seealp) is a stunning natural lake that is surrounded by lush green meadows in Schwende-Rüte, Switzerland. It is a part of the Appenzell Alps, one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in Switzerland. The lake is a popular spot for outdoor activities, including swimming, fishing and hiking. The meadows around the lake are filled with wildflowers, which make it a great spot for photographers to capture breathtaking shots of the Swiss Alps. With an altitude of 1,971 meters, you can enjoy a stunning view of snow-capped peaks of the surrounding range. The lake is accessible via Gonten, which lies at its northern end, and a cable car that runs through the Gonten peak.
