The Grand Canyon is one of the most iconic natural wonders of the United States, located within the Grand Canyon National Park in northern Arizona. The canyon is 277 miles long, up to 18 miles wide, and nearly a mile deep, making it one of the most photographed attractions in the world. The south and north rims are the most popular vantage points for taking in the stunning sight of the canyon. The Colorado River runs through the bottom of the canyon, creating a variety of terrains and landscapes. The most well-known spot is the aptly named Grand Canyon Village, where visitors can find access to a variety of tourist amenities. From here you can take any number of trails and restaurants to explore a truly unique natural wonder!
