📍 From Victor Steinbrueck Park, United States
The Seattle Great Wheel is a giant Ferris wheel located at Pier 57 on Seattle's waterfront. Completed in 2012, the wheel rises up 175 feet, providing spectacular views over Seattle’s skyline and Elliot Bay. Visitors can take a ride, lasting about 20 minutes, with enclosed and open gondolas, seating 4 - 6 people. Enjoy panoramic views of the waterfront, Bainbridge and Vashon Islands, Ferries crisscrossing the bay, maritime activity around Pier 66 and the Olympic Mountains. On a clear day, visitors can spot Mount Rainier in the distance. The Seattle Great Wheel is a perfect vantage point to capture the beauty of Seattle.
