The sculpture was created by Philip Romoli in 1958 and was part of his Pegasus Monument. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens and the grounds of the Heidelberg palace, so makes the perfect backdrop for a day out. Visitors can meander through the garden and take in the views from this stunning vantage point before posing for photos next to the Pegasus. As you wander the grounds, you will come across some of the pathways with several ancient statues, benches and fountains. With its rich artistic and cultural history, the Heidelberg castle and its garden are true sight for sore eyes.
