Scone Palace is a historical palace located within the city of Perth & Kinross. It is the former seat of Scotland's kings and is widely regarded as one of the most important ancient buildings in Scotland. The palace contains lavish interiors, and is the only Highland Palace with the full suite of ancient carvings, historic statues and paintings. The grounds of the palace feature two large stone circles and several gardens, as well as woodland, which is home to many species of birds. Alongside the main hall there is a Queen's bedroom and a King's bedroom as well as the Bishops room. Finally, there is the cultural exhibition room, with many artefacts illustrating the long and various history of Scotland.
