
Schwedenlöcher, near Hohnstein in Germany, is an old quarry complex with interesting rock formations. It consists of limestone rocks covered with moss, lush vegetation and a small waterfall. Visitors can wander around the quarry complex and admire its beauty. A hike is possible to the top of the Hohnsteiner Berg hill nearby for an even better view of the area. The former tunnels and rock formations create an impressive atmosphere that nature enthusiasts love to explore. There are also bridges, crevices and tunnels waiting to be discovered. To get to the quarry you have to take a short but steep descent. Please remember to take your hiking and safety equipment with you.
