Schloss Meersburg is an imposing palace situated in the German town of Meersburg,on the shores of Lake Constance. It is a wonderful example of a medieval castle, with towering stone walls and a beautiful courtyard. The castle houses the Meersburg Municipal Museum, which is home to many interesting historical artifacts. Visitors can explore the courtyard, gardens and the two courtyards. The castle also hosts concerts and events during the summer months, such as the annual Meersburg Summer Festival. There are two churches in the castle, one of which is the oldest Protestant Church north of the Alps. There is also a viewing platform from which visitors can get a great view of Lake Constance. The nearby Meersburg Harbour is a popular spot for boating, fishing and swimming. Schloss Meersburg is a great destination to visit in Germany and offers a stunning view of the lake.
