📍 Germany
Schloss Favorite is a historic Baroque palace in Ludwigsburg, Germany. Built in the 18th century, it was once the favorite residence of King Frederick I of Württemberg, hence the name of the palace. It is currently a museum and houses some of the king's furniture and clothing as well as a collection of porcelain, paintings and other artworks. Aside from its corner towers and baroque facades, the palace is also known for its vast park, which is often used as a venue for historical reenactments and events. In spring, the park is a riot of colours as over 300,000 flowers are in full bloom. Its tree-lined paths and terraces and the views of the nearby lake make it a lovely place to explore and relax.
