The Schildescher Viadukt is an iconic landmark in the city of Bielefeld, Germany. It is an old stone bridge built in 1841, with a total length of 135m. The bridge's arches span across the Weser River, providing and amazing view of the city and the surrounding wooded hills. The bridge itself is a great destination for walkers and cyclists, and it is also a popular spot for anglers. The nearby Rockcafe has great food and offers a lawn for sunbathing and picnics. The bridge is especially impressive in the evening and at night when it is illuminated. At the western end of the bridge, you'll find a staircase leading down to a picturesque park where you can see some of the lovely stone carvings on the bridge.
