The Santuario del Sacro Speco is a stunningly beautiful religious complex in Subiaco, Italy, located about an hour outside of Rome. It consists of several caves, chapels, stairways, and other structures, many of which were built during the Middle Ages. The main structure is a church which is built into the cliff face.
