Santa Maria Maggiore is a beautiful 13th century church located in Monte Sant'Angelo in Foggia, Italy. This magnificent structure overlooks the sea and stands atop a hill like a hidden jewel. It features a spectacular bell tower and is surrounded by a charmingly weathered staircase. Inside the church are wonderful frescoes, ancient stone walls and a large and impressive ceiling.
