Santa Maria Maddalena is a small church built in the 11th century, located in the town of Bossolasco in the province of Cuneo in Italy. The church is located in the center of the town and is home to a small community of Catholic monks. The exterior of the church is simple and unadorned, with a large wooden front door as the only ornamentation. Inside, the church is richly decorated, with a frescoed dome, walls covered in religious murals, and two rows of painted wooden pews. The main altar is adorned with a beautiful painting of the Madonna and Child, surrounded by saints and angels. The church is open to the public with limited hours and guided tours are available. While visiting, don’t miss the small museum located next to the church, which displays artwork and artifacts from the region. It’s a relaxing, peaceful place to explore and just take in the atmosphere.
