Santa Iglesia Catedral Primada de Toledo, or the Primatial Cathedral of Saint Mary of Toledo, is a Gothic-style Roman Catholic cathedral located in Toledo, Spain. The cathedral is world-renowned for its architectural beauty, with its high fliers, impressive buttresses and three magnificent gothic-style portals. Inside, visitors are greeted by a grand nave, a spectacular choir and many splendid chapels and artworks. Highlights of the cathedral include Flemish Gothic tapestries, a 15th-century carved mausoleum and a splendid 14th-century altarpiece credited to French sculptor, Jean de Fiennes. Visitors can also admire the churches' donation of their rich art, such as illuminated choir books, sumptuous vestments, plates and croziers. The cathedral is definitely worth a visit for its spiritual and aesthetic qualities.
