San Petronio is a large Gothic-style Roman Catholic church in Bologna, Italy. It is the tenth-largest church in the world by volume, and has one of the largest clocks in the world. The church has one of the main works of Italian Renaissance sculpture, the Portale Centrale, which was designed in 1425. It is made of a series of decorated panels with sculptures of angels and saints, along with a bust of Pope Pius V. The Portale Centrale features a number of stories from the Bible. The church is also noted for its works of art, which include the works of Guercino and Lavinia Fontana. The church has a large library, an organ, and a museum with a number of artifacts.
