
San Michele in Bosco is an historic villa complex located in Bologna, Italy, dating back to the 16th century. The villa is surrounded by a park filled with gardens and lush vegetation that contribute to a unique landscape. Since 1880, San Michele in Bosco has been an important cultural and educational centre, hosting concerts, movie sessions, theatre, museums, and more. The complex offers stunning views of the city of Bologna from its terraces and gardens, and provides a great escape just outside the city. The villa offers a variety of activities and events all year round, amongst them the popular International Music Festival every summer. It is also the home of the Felsina Archaeological Museum, which offers interesting discoveries of the Etruscan and Roman presence in the area.
