It has two tiers, a westbound upper deck, and an eastbound lower deck. The two main spans of the bridge are connected by Yerba Buena Island, a artificial island that sits in the middle of the Bay, which can only be accessed by the Bay Bridge. The bridge, the island, and the surrounding area offer spectacular views for travelers, who can watch the sailboats, ferries, and cruise ships going in and out of ports in the Bay, and of the skylines of both San Francisco and Oakland. The bridge is also home to some of the most iconic pieces of architecture and engineering in the Bay Area, such as the two 377 ft towers that support the 2.2 mile long main bridge span and the spiralling art deco western viaduct.TOP🗺 MapShow on Map🎫 Tourist attractionsCheck tourist attractions nearby🏨 HostelsCheck hostels nearby🌦 Weather informationGet weather information, and much more, from the app. Download it for free!🚕 How to get there?Get routes information (by car, walking, public transport, etc), and much more, from the app. Download it for free!
