The Salton Sea is located in Bombay Beach, Southern California, United States, and is a large shallow, saline, endorheic rift lake. It is the largest body of water in California and has a unique ecosystems and abundant wildlife, making it an excellent spot for birdwatching and wildlife photography. There are also interesting abandoned buildings, abandoned boats, and colorful gysers, as well as many nearby off-the-beaten-path and unique attractions. The area experiences lovely sunsets and sunrises, providing families and couples a beautiful backdrop for photos.
