📍 Türkiye
Saklıkent Kanyonu is a narrow limestone gorge in Seydikemer, Muğla, where a mountain stream cuts through the western Taurus range within Saklıkent National Park. Visitors enter along a cliff-hugging wooden walkway above fast, icy water, then can continue by wading where conditions permit. The canyon’s immense rock walls, sculpted surfaces and compressed perspective create its most recognizable images; sunlight reaches the floor in sharp shafts, while pale stone contrasts with blue-green water. Flow rises with rain and snowmelt, so access beyond the walkway can be restricted when the current is strong.
