Saints Peter and Paul Church is an iconic Catholic church located in the North Beach area of San Francisco. Established in 1884, the church was a popular immigrants' gathering spot and was the first Italian-American parish in San Francisco. Inside, visitors will find ornate stonework and ornamental decorations, as well as many artifacts and historical documents displayed in glass cases. Outside, a large landscaped garden with a pond and a collection of plants, trees and shrubs, is open for visitors to enjoy.
