Saint Thegonnec is a beautiful town in France's Finistere Department. It is situated on the Oust river and lies near the northern shore of the Brittany peninsula. The town is known for its pretty architecture and its place in Breton history. There are a few interesting historical sites in Saint Thegonnec including St. Florian's Church, built in the 12th century. The church is made of granite and its bell tower can be seen from miles away.

The quaint town center is great for a stroll, lined with traditionally designed houses, many of them made of granite, with slate roofs and stone walls. There is a very old bridge on the Oust River, near the center of town. This bridge is an exceptionally good example of an old Breton bridge. In the center of town, you can also find the 12th-century cross and an old mill ruins. Saint Thegonnec also offers stunning countryside views, especially around the lake at Loc-Eguiner. Here, you'll find rolling hills, forests and the ancient megalithic standing stones. There is also a selection of outdoor activities, such as fishing, boating, and walking trails with stylish landscapes. The area is also perfect for a picnic or barbecue. No visit to Saint Thegonnec is complete without stopping in the local church. This church is the oldest in the area and has a very distinguished history. Inside you'll find beautiful wall paintings and sculptures, as well as a magnificent organ.
