Saint Stepanos Church in Kosh, Armenia is a historic Armenian Apostolic Church located in the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia. The church was first built in the 4th century and served as a summer residence for the Armenian Kings. It was reconstructed in the 12th century and its name was changed from Sarpi to Stepanos in honor of St. Stepanos the Illuminator. The main structure of the church is in the form of a cross, and the walls are decorated with intricate carvings of biblical scenes. Inside the church there is an altar and a niche in the middle. The first floor of the church is divided into two halves which can be accessed through the two side arches. The church has several columns and a single central one. Visitors can admire the Armenian architecture and the delicate carvings of the church. Photography inside the church is respected but kept to a minimum, so that the church remains in its historical and spiritual state.
