Saint-Saphorin is a quaint little village located in the La-Côte wine region of the Swiss canton of Vaud. The village is spread over two terraces of gentle hills, with vineyards covering each. Stunning views of Lake Geneva can be seen from the terrace. There are several attractions worth stopping by on your visit to this picturesque village. Saint-Saphorin is home to the Manoir de Mâche which was built in the 16th century with beautiful wall paintings. The local church, Église Saint Martin, is one of the oldest in the region and worth a visit. The village is also home to a number of traditional Swiss chalets and plenty of cafés and restaurants. Exploring the area around Saint-Saphorin is a great way to take in the breathtaking views of the mountains and vineyards. For the adventurous traveler, there are plenty of outdoor activities such as hiking and biking that are available in the area.
