Saint Olaf's Church in Tyrvää, in the municipality of Sastamala in Finland, is a medieval stone church located in a tranquil and serene atmosphere, surrounded by a cemetery and green pastures. Built-in stone between 1575 and 1577, it is a well-preserved example of medieval construction with a unique appearance and several unique features. Its innermost wall is decorated with an intricate painting in the ceiling, showing a Star of David, a crucifix and other religious symbols. The church is also known for its restored large wooden pulpit and its fine set of benches. On the outside, there is a large wall of stones around the church and a bell tower. Inside, visitors can learn more about the history of the church, as well as its importance to the local community. The church is currently undergoing restorations and visitors are welcome to see them. They can also enjoy the serene atmosphere in the graveyard and take in the views of the surrounding countryside.
