The Saint Nicolas Tower of La Rochelle is an iconic landmark in the French city of La Rochelle. Dating back to the 14th century, this imposing structure stands over 130 feet tall and offers breathtaking views of the city’s harbor. The tower was initially constructed as fortification for the medieval port, but served a more decorative purpose throughout the 19th century. Tourists and photographers alike can explore the exterior and its narrow winding stairs within.
