Saint Michael Church, located in the heart of the charming city of Dijon, is a beautiful Gothic masterpiece. Built between 1220 and 1230 and expanded in the 15th century, it is the largest church in the city of Dijon and a highly symbolic place. The church is composed of three beautiful aisles, each separated by a picturesque arcade, along with two rather majestic towers peeking out from a side entrance like two outstretched arms. Its impressive octagonal spire, the tallest in all of Burgundy, is visible from much of the city and provides a bird's eye view of its surrounding streets. Inside the church, visitors can admire its magnificent stained glass windows, many of which are from the 16th century, as well as its carved stone and Gothic-style features.
