Originally known as St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, the majestic St. Mark’s Church is a historic parish in the heart of the historic district of Old City,Philadelphia. With its stunning Romanesque Revival style architecture given its unique pointed arches, symmetrical layout and terra cotta detailing with a large turret its influence of religious architecture from the Late Gothic period makes it a stunning building to behold. Its beautiful features make it an interesting subjects for photographers to capture, and it is open for visitors during the week. It is also listed in the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places.
