Saint Gondry is a picturesque village in Plougrescant, in the C么tes-d'Armor region of Brittany. Standing upon a hillside at the feet of the Callenroc Mountains, it is a charming place of cobbled stone streets and slate-roofed houses which date back to the 18th century. Surrounded by lush green fields, the village of Saint Gondry is nestled in a quiet and peaceful corner of the realm, offering an idyllic retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. The center of town is a Place de la Marquise, where a traditional market is held every Sunday. Visitors can find many different regional products, as well as speciality items from neighbouring regions. A stroll down its winding streets offers an opportunity to observe and appreciate the traditional architecture of the region, full of granite and slate-covered buildings. Close by there is a 12th-century church which still holds regular services. The nearby Callenroc Mountains offer a number of trails with spectacular views over the landscape, where on a clear day you can even spot Mont Saint-Michel in the distance.
