The Saint Corentin Cathedral in Quimper, France, is a remarkable example of a Gothic cathedral supported by an interior of Romanesque architecture. Its earliest parts are from the 13th century and its most recent one, the West Gothic facade, was built in the 19th century. The cathedral is an oasis of peace and calm in the middle of Quimper, set in a stunning square surrounded by shops, making it one of the city's main attractions. Offering amazing views from its bell tower, the impressive building contains works of art from the Renaissance and Baroque period and is considered one of the most beautiful cathedrals in the country.
