
The Royal Vancouver Yacht Club was founded in 1903 and is one of the most prestigious yacht clubs in Canada. Located on the picturesque waterfront of Vancouver's Coal Harbour, the club overlooks Stanley Park, Burrard Inlet, and the North Shore Mountains. For recreational boaters, RVYC offers a protected and safe harbour, complete with modern facilities and an experienced staff. For competitive yachtsmen, a full calendar of races keeps things competitive. For social events, the club offers a host of facilities, including a pool, restaurant, bar and banquet hall. For sailors interested in learning, a series of courses are available, as well as on-site day sailing and racing instruction. With scenic and varied cruising grounds, RVYC is a wonderful home base, a great place to gather up some friends, and to cast off with confidence.
