Roque Nublo, a dramatic basaltic rock monolith standing at about 80 meters tall, is one of the most iconic natural landmarks of Gran Canaria in the Spanish Canary Islands. This ancient volcanic rock, believed to be a sacred monument for the indigenous Guanches, dominates the landscape from its perch 1,813 meters above sea level in the rural park of Nublo.
