Rooke Chapel at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania is a beloved landmark, designed by notable architect C. Emlen Urban and completed in 1902. The building features iconic Romanesque Revival features such as red brick walls, arched windows, and a landscaped plaza. Inside, the chapel is adorned with lovely stained glass windows and mosaics, as well as elaborate finishes and furnishings. Rooke Chapel is well known among students of the university, and offers a stunning place to reflect and escape from everyday life. Its beautiful architecture is especially inspirational in the mornings and evenings when the light filters into its space. The views of the rolling hills surrounding Bucknell are also stunning, making it an ideal place to take a break at any time of day.
