Rocca Albani - Castello di Urgnano is a unique castle in the Lombardy region of Italy. It was built in the 12th century and is located in Urgnano, near Bergamo. The castle is renowned for its Towers, for its two wings and for its large central courtyard with a beautiful Gothic-Renaissance style façade. There are frescoes, painted by the renowned local artist Giacomo Borroni. Rocca Albano is also known for its gardens where you can find trees, shrubs and flowers that are over a hundred years old. Visitors may enjoy the castle and stroll through its beautiful gardens. There are also some small shops nearby where you can purchase souvenirs and local products.
