Robin Hood's Cave is a historic location nestled deep in Sherwood Forest. It was the alleged refuge of the infamous outlaw, Robin Hood, and his men. The five-story cave is full of incredible detail, including numerous chambers and galleries lined with intricate carvings. It is said to have been carved out of sandstone by Robin and his men, but nobody knows for sure if that is true. The cave is open for visitors with guided tours available, as well as occasional events such as talks from local historians. It is an awe-inspiring place to visit, witness its incredible history and legends, and be surrounded in its calming serenity.
