📍 Canada
Rivière Doncaster is a Laurentian watercourse and tributary of the Rivière du Nord, flowing through the forested landscape of Sainte-Adèle. Its most accessible scenery lies in Parc de la Rivière Doncaster, where trails follow stretches of exposed bedrock, cascades and fast water shaded by mixed woodland. The river’s visual character comes from the contrast between dark pools, white turbulence, weathered rock and dense seasonal foliage; autumn adds reds and golds, while winter reduces the scene to snow, ice and open channels. Riverside paths offer close, low viewpoints rather than a broad panorama.
