Riviera Beach

Riviera Beach in Mellieha, Malta, is a stunning bay surrounded by high, steep limestone cliffs on either side, with crystal clear Mediterranean waters lapping onto the shore of sandy beach that stretches for 500 meters. The beach is equipped with public amenities such as restrooms, a snack bar, sun beds and umbrellas, but you can also opt to go cliff-jumping into the sea or soak up the Mediterranean rays on the beach's sun loungers. Riviera Beach allows swimming and snorkelling alike, as there is a wide variety of sea life to explore in its waters, including multicoloured fish, octopus, starfish and a variety of coral. At the end of the Riviera Beach is one of Malta's most popular attractions - the Blue Lagoon - a shallow stretch of the sea with inviting turquoise-blue waters. Access to Riviera Beach is easy with road and carpark entrances at either side.
