Along the river is an array of amenities, such as nature reserves, country parks, cycle trails, and an array of wildlife. The River Trent also serves as an important recreational area, where visitors can take pleasure in traditional activities, including boating and angling. In addition, visitors can experience a wide range of attractions, from historic sites to industrial heritage, as well as many fine walking and cycling routes.
