Rio Las Vueltas is a stunning river located in the El Chaltén village in the Santa Cruz province of Argentina. It is known as a fantastic place for fly fishing, with both lakes and rivers full of trouts, as well as an ideal place to take a walk amidst the forests and mountains of the Patagonian landscape. For hikers, this area offers several hiking trails surrounded by stunning lagoons, creek crossings and impressive mountain ranges. One of the most popular hikes is the Laguna Torre Trail, a three-hour round trip beginning at El Chaltén and taking you to the Viedma Glacier, with impressive views of the Cerro Fitz Roy along the way.
