Rheinfall Schaffhausen is one of Europe's largest and most magnificent waterfalls, located in northeastern Switzerland. The Rheinfall spreads across a 75 meter wide area and falls 23 meters, with a mighty thundering sound. Once at the gorge, visitors can explore different observation decks located on the banks of the river which provide the perfect view with which to admire the impressive natural spectacle. A boat tour or a bridge hike are also possible activities, allowing visitors to get up close to the waterfall. While there, visitors can also explore the neighboring Rheinfallpark or take a stroll along the nearby Rhine River. Vom Bus Parkplatz / P1 is located at the start of the Rheinfallpark, making it an ideal starting point for a visit to the falls.
