
René of Anjou is a stunning castle located in the city of Angers, France and is known for its remarkable architecture and historical significance. Although nearly 800 years old, the castle still stands imposingly in the city of Angers. It is now used as a Historical Monument, a museum, and a center of culture in the city. The castle itself is made up of 9 towers whose height exceeds 40 meters in some of them. It is surrounded by walls 21 meters high, on which you can see the different coats of arms of each of the noble families of the House of Anjou. Inside you can see dozens of exquisitely decorated rooms, with magnificent works of art, furniture, and tapestries. It also has a beautiful chapel, a library, and a garden with more than 3,000 trees. This castle is a real must-see in Angers, whether in its exterior, interior or garden.
