Reichsburg Cochem is a castle located in the Moselle wine region town of Cochem, Germany. Built in the 11th century, the castle overlooks the romantic valley of the Moselle River and is visible for miles. The castle was damaged in the 17th century, then rebuilt between 1869 and 1879 in the neo-Gothic style.

Visitors to the castle can walk the terraced courtyards and towers and enjoy views of the village below. The castle is home to a number of historic rooms and collections, and a historical museum. There is also a restaurant within the castle walls. From the castle, visitors can experience panoramic views of the vineyards and forests of the region. Visitors can also take a boat along the Moselle River and experience the quaint, picturesque villages on either side. Reichsburg Castle is opened 365 days a year and offers guided tours, events, and an audio-visual show. There is also a shop selling various souvenirs, postcards, and collectibles. This is a great attraction for those interested in exploring some of Germany’s history and culture.
