The Red Church (or the Church of St. James) is a magnificent and beautifully decorated Baroque church located in the Czech city of Brno-město. Built in the 18th century, it has become one of the largest churches in Brno and one of its most recognizable landmarks. Its grand scale and ornate architecture make it a sight to behold. The octagonal dome of the church is brightly painted in a red, blue and white colour. Inside, visitors can admire stained glass windows, sculptures of saints, angels, and even a 16th century oak altarpiece. While the outside of the Red Church is undoubtedly a highlight, the interior is also impressive. The walls are covered in frescos, and intricate stucco decorations and sculptures. No matter the time of day, the Red Church is a perfect spot to capture the beauty of century-old architecture.
