The Rathaussteg is a wooden bridge situated in the old town of Lucerne, Switzerland. Built in the late 19th century, it crosses the River Reuss and connects the Lucerne Town Hall to the National Museum of Transport. Located near the Old Town and surrounded by the picturesque atmosphere of Lucerne, the Rathaussteg offers sweeping views of the city. The bridge is a beautiful spot to view the cityscape and nearby buildings, including the historical Chapel Bridge and Water Tower, and is situated near the Congress Centre and Lucerne's famous lake and river. Visitors have the opportunity to take scenic photos of the lake and the surrounding mountains, and may be able to catch a glimpse of swans swimming in the lake. The Rathaussteg is accessible via the Lucerne Old Town and the riverside promenade. It is open for pedestrians and is the perfect spot for a relaxing stroll!
