📍 From Alsterarkaden, Germany
Rathaus von Hamburg in Hamburg, Germany is a magnificent building that reminds of a true palatial architecture. Located in the Altstadt district on the Rathausmarkt square, it rises 81 meters in height with its traditional German gable roof and two 123-meter-high towers that represent the city's success. Its monumental façade and rich décor make it a must-see tourist attraction. The museum inside the building – Hamburg Kunsthalle – regularly hosts temporary exhibitions and permanent collections of art from the Middle Ages to present day. Visitors can also admire a great number of stunning sculptures, statues, and a large collection of silver pieces. Worth while is also the view of Old Town and the Alster Lake that the Rathaus offers from its covered gallery.
